Job summary

IntelliPro is seeking a Manufacturing Tooling II/III Engineer for a 6-month contract in Rocket Park, FL. You will design tooling for New Glenn, develop CAD models, and manage tooling projects from concept to commissioning, with emphasis on safety and quality.

The role requires Creo Parametric, Windchill experience, GD&T, and 3+ years in manufacturing tooling. Opportunity to extend based on performance and needs.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with tooling design, fabrication, and procurement.
• CAD-based design software experience for modeling and drafting.
• Experience with Creo Parametric and Windchill CAD/PDM systems.
• Solid understanding of mechanical design and GD&T.
• Ability to perform basic hand calculations.
• Three or more years of direct manufacturing experience.
• U.S. citizen or eligible work status in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Design and release CAD models and drawings for simple tooling per ASME Y14.5.
• Solve design challenges with fixtures, material-handling equipment, rotisseries and test fixtures.
• Manage tooling projects from concept to commissioning, including procurement and testing.
• Establish procurement priorities and communicate them clearly to the team.
• Define and support repair and rework activities.
• Perform root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to optimize safety, cost, and reliability.
