Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Tooling Engineer to design, validate, and implement high-quality tooling for complex aircraft structures. You will collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality to support new product introduction and production scaling on the shop floor.

You will own tool designs from concept to validation, perform GD&T analysis, and provide real-time floor support to improve processes.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 5+ years in production assembly/fabrication for air vehicles.
• Experience with tooling for composite manufacturing and production tooling differences.

Responsibilities

• Lead tool design and validation to enable manufacturability.
• Provide real-time tooling support on the manufacturing floor.
• Perform tolerance stack-up and GD&T analyses for fixtures.
• Own tool designs using CAD; communicate access requirements.
• Select methods for producing parts, tooling, or assemblies.
• Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
