Job summary

Eaton’s IS AER FED division in Bethel, CT is seeking a Tool & Die Maker / Machinist - 1st Shift to join our team. The core hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with an hourly range of $34-$43.

Responsibilities include machining tooling and fixtures, setting up and operating manual mills, lathes, grinders, and performing GD&T inspections. CAD experience and strong mechanical aptitude are required, with 3+ years in the trade.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as Tool Maker.
• Experience or formal education in CAD with drafting.
• No relocation benefit; within 50 miles of Bethel, CT.
• Export-controlled information requires U.S. person status.

Responsibilities

• Machine complex tooling and fixtures with engineers.
• Set up and run manual mills, lathes, presses and saws.
• Operate surface grinders and basic inspection tools.
• Work from drawings and prints; develop cutting tools.
• Inspect GD&T features using inspection techniques.
• Assist in training shop employees on processes.
