Job summary

Eaton's IS AER FED division in Bethel, CT is seeking an Aerospace Solderer for 1st shift. You will solder under a microscope, inspect parts, read blueprints and procedures, and maintain quality records.

The role runs from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, within ITAR controls and a no-relocation policy. Applicants should have at least 2 years of soldering experience, excellent dexterity, and the ability to work in a team while following written instructions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of soldering experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and procedures.
• Excellent manual dexterity and precision under magnification.
• Ability to work in a team and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Solder electro-mechanical components under a microscope and/or magnifier.
• Assemble, setup and maintain tooling.
• Inspect parts visually and maintain quality records.
• Interpret customer and supplier requirements and suggest process improvements.
