Job summary

Eaton’s IS AER FED division in Bethel, CT seeks a Tool & Die Maker / Machinist - 1st Shift to join our team. Core hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday–Friday. The role supports manufacturing by producing tooling, fixtures, and production components for aerospace programs.

The candidate will read blueprints, set up manual machines including mills and lathes, and inspect GD&T features. A minimum of 3 years in the trade and CAD familiarity are required; associate degree in a technical field is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED requirement.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as Tool Maker.
• Experience or formal education in design/drafting with emphasis on CAD.
• Export-controlled information restrictions and eligible U.S. person status.
• No relocation benefit; within 50 miles of Bethel, CT.
• U.S. export regulations compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Machine complex tooling and fixtures with millers and lathes.
• Set up and run manual machine shop equipment and surface grinders.
• Work from drawings and work instructions; develop and sharpen cutting tools.
• Inspect GD&T features using basic/advanced inspection methods.
• Assist training of shop employees on procedures.
