Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) seeks a Knockout Operator to safely remove shells, gates, and risers from titanium castings for aerospace applications. The role supports weekend and swing shifts, with a base to be determined by experience and union guidelines.

Excellent benefits accompany a full-time position at our Albany, OR facility. You will work with a team to prep rough castings, follow safety standards, and support senior operators in critical production steps.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
• Experience operating a forklift is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a solid job history.
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment background check.
• Must be willing to participate in pre-employment and periodic drug screening.
• Previous experience operating a cutting torch is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove shells from parts using a water blaster, sand blaster, and hand tools.
• Assist Senior Operators in removing shell casings using the caustic tank and cutting tools.
• Assist in using a cutting torch and band saw to cut off smaller, non-complex parts.
• Perform inspections to ensure machinery and equipment are used safely.
• May be required to manage hazardous wastes.
• Other duties as assigned.
