Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Albany, OR is seeking a Knockout Operator to safely remove shells, gates, and risers from titanium castings for aerospace applications. Growth opportunities and a weekend/day shift option are available.

Responsibilities include shell removal with blasting tools, assisting senior operators, and performing safety inspections; background checks and drug screening are required. CPP offers benefits and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred; candidates with relevant experience considered.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Solid job history with 1+ year at previous employer.
• Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check.
• Must be willing to participate in pre-employment and periodic drug screening.
• Experience operating a cutting torch is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Removes shells from basic/non-complex parts using a water blaster, sand blaster, and hand tools.
• Assists Senior Operators and leads in the removal of shell casings from parts, using the caustic tank.
• Assists in the cutting of smaller, non-complex parts using a cutting torch and band saw.
• Performs inspections to ensure machinery and equipment are used safely.
• May be required to manage hazardous wastes.
• Other duties as assigned.
