Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Albany, Oregon, is hiring a Metal Finisher I to work on titanium castings in a hands‑on manufacturing environment. You will use grinding tools to remove imperfections, blend welds, and prepare components to meet our quality standards while following safety procedures.

The position offers swing or weekend day shifts with differential pay, overtime opportunities, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; relevant experience may be considered.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willing to complete pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate pneumatic hand grinders to remove imperfections from titanium castings.
• Operate belt grinding equipment to surface grind and blend welds.
• Use appropriate measuring tools to verify parts meet requirements.
• Measure parts and visually inspect castings for defects.
• Identify and mark castings as required.
• Ensure paperwork stays with castings throughout the manufacturing process.
• Keep your workstation clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow established procedures, technical instructions, and safety requirements.
• Work as part of a team to meet production and quality goals.
