Job summary

CSI Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a Welder to perform aerospace component repairs using TIG welding on stainless steel, nickel and copper. The role follows approved documentation and requires solid hands-on production experience with basic shop tools.

The candidate should be able to read specifications and blueprints and document traceability on manufacturing orders. First shift runs 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with overtime on Fridays as required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of welding experience in production/manufacturing environments.
• Ability to pass TIG welding assessment on nickel, stainless steel and copper.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and blueprints.
• Hands-on production use of small hand tools and shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Joins and repairs metal using appropriate welding techniques.
• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, nickel and copper.
• Follow approved documentation (prints, SOPs, WI) for work instructions.
• Document traceability of components on manufacturing orders.
• Provide feedback to Production Supervisor on issues affecting assembly and documentation.
