Job summary

TAT Technologies in Tulsa, OK is seeking an experienced Welder to support aerospace MRO operations, focusing on TIG welding of aluminum, stainless steel, nickel alloys, and copper for heat exchangers and related components.

The role requires reading blueprints, maintaining welding certifications, and complying with FAA/AS9100 standards; shift is 6:00am–3:30pm with overtime as needed. Major Medical, 401K, and other benefits are provided.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of TIG welding experience, preferably in aerospace or exotic metals.
Must be able to pass AWS D17.1 weld testing for MRO certification on Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Inconel.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, specifications.

Responsibilities

Fit, blast, and TIG weld aluminum, stainless steel, nickel alloys, copper, and other materials.
Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, and specs.
Perform visual inspections for penetration, porosity, cracks, and defects.
Maintain welding certifications and complete AWS D17.1 tests for applicable materials.
Follow FAA, AS9100, customer, and company quality standards.
