Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, Inc. (CRT) is seeking a Welder to apply TIG welding and brazing to turbine engine components in an aerospace-focused environment.

You will work with stainless steels, titanium, aluminum and nickel alloys, following strict safety and quality standards as part of a trained team. You will advance through hands-on training, learn new welding techniques, and read detailed print requirements under supervision.

Qualifications

• Technical high school or equivalent weld curriculum completed.
• Minimum of two years TIG welding experience.
• AWS welding certification credentials preferred, AWS D17.1 aerospace endorsement preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding, brazing and related prep work per engineering specs.
• Read and interpret drawings and print requirements accurately.
• Follow AWS D17.1 aerospace endorsement certification program and OJT requirements.
• Inspect welded joints for quality and conformance to standards.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and use fixtures and gauges as required.
