Zusammenfassung

Lafarge & Egge is seeking an experienced Welder to join our Oregon facilities. The Welder 2/3 will perform TIG and orbital welding, brazing, and precision welds to aerospace quality standards and work from detailed blueprints.

Responsibilities include inspecting welds, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with engineering and production teams to meet stringent safety and quality requirements. A certified welding program and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent demanded
• Completion of a certified welding training program or apprenticeship
• Minimum of 5+ years welding experience
• TIG and orbital welds on thin-wall stainless steel, Inconel, titanium, and aluminum to aerospace/NDT standards
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Pass welding certification tests as required
• Eligible to work on ITAR projects as a US resident

Aufgaben

• Perform advanced welding operations using TIG, Orbital, and brazing on metals including Inconel, aluminum, titanium and stainless steel
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to specifications
• Inspect and test welded joints for quality and integrity, making repairs as needed
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure safe operating condition
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to plan welding sequences
• Demonstrate strong fit-up and purge techniques
• Grind, polish, and perform pre/post weld finishing as required
