Honeywell Aerospace in Torrance, CA is seeking an Advanced Systems Engineer to join the environmental control systems team. You will design, implement, and manage complex mechanical systems, drive innovation, and ensure safety and reliability across programs.

The role requires MBSE proficiency, systems integration, and strong written and verbal communication with technical leads and customers. The position is hybrid with no relocation offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical-systems-related engineering experience.
• Fundamental understanding of stress, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, or heat transfer.

Responsabilités

• Mechanical systems and equipment integration and oversight.
• Coordinate with component and analysis teams to ensure system success.
• Support for system architecture trade studies and present trades.
• Develop a set of requirements that satisfy customer needs.
• Create and execute verification plans to ensure design meets requirements.
• Plan and execute system level tests (Performance, Environmental, Vibration).
• Clearly convey technical content to leads, customers, and management.
• Maintain traceable documentation to support program execution.
