Job summary

AAA USA Inc. is seeking an experienced Thermal Spray Operator to support aerospace manufacturing and gas turbine component repair in Jupiter, FL.

The role involves operating robotic spray systems, preparing components, reading engineering drawings, and ensuring coating quality to meet customer specifications. Candidates should have at least 2 years in thermal spray or related manufacturing, familiarity with GTV/Sulzer Metco systems, and experience with HVOF, plasma spray, or APS processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in thermal spray or related manufacturing
• Experience with GTV or Sulzer Metco coating systems preferred
• Experience with HVOF, Plasma Spray, APS or TBC processes preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic thermal spray equipment to apply protective coatings to aerospace gas turbine components
• Prepare components for coating through blasting, masking, cleaning, and fixture installation
• Program, operate, and monitor automated coating systems and robotic cells
• Inspect coating thickness and quality using precision measuring equipment and specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and coating specs
• Complete production, inspection, and quality documentation and report non-conforming conditions
• Maintain equipment and collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized work environment following safety procedures
