Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Thermal Processing Technician to operate heat-treat furnaces and an ultrasonic degreaser, ensuring parts are clean and dry before loading, and to set up and monitor furnaces per operation sheets.

You will manage the heat-treat schedule and collaborate with Quality Engineering to resolve issues. The role requires reading charts, basic math, and meticulous visual inspections, with opportunities for training on 1st shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Comfort with math (basic operations, decimals, fractions) and reading charts.
• Experience with computers and scanning devices; use of adjustable measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Operate heat-treat furnaces and ultrasonic degreaser; ensure parts are cleaned and fully dried before loading.
• Configure furnaces to operation-sheet requirements; verify heat-treat charts.
• Execute heat-treat production schedule and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Perform special processes including shot peen, airflow, and waterflow; set up per spec.
• Inspect materials to operation-sheet criteria; conduct high-attention visual inspections.
