Job summary

Unytite, Inc. is seeking a Heat Treat Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. You will operate and monitor heat treatment furnaces to ensure parts meet tight specifications, perform setups, and collaborate with engineers to optimize processes.

You’ll handle measuring tools, maintain equipment, and move materials with a forklift. A high school diploma and at least 1 year in manufacturing are required, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year in manufacturing is required.
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and lifting.
• Strong mathematical skills are essential.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and quality standards in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor heat treatment furnaces to meet specifications.
• Perform machine setups and tear downs with tools and materials for each job run.
• Inspect parts for quality using precision measuring tools.
• Maintain equipment and keep a clean, safe work environment.
• Use a forklift to move material to and from the workstation.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to troubleshoot and optimize processes.
