Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is hiring a Test Technician for a 3rd shift onsite role in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will perform testing with DMM, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, document results, and assist engineers in data trend analysis and improvement opportunities.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma (or equivalent), is able to read complex schematics, pass the CETa exam, and be willing to train on first shift for 4+ weeks. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• HS Diploma or equivalent; 2 years relevant experience if no HS diploma.
• Must pass CETa exam from ETA-I.
• Willing to train on 1st shift for 4+ weeks and work 3rd shift.
• Ability to read complex electronic schematics and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing using DMM, oscilloscope, frequency generators, spectrum analyzer, and other equipment.
• Collect, document, and report test results.
• Evaluate test results and contribute to data trend analysis.
• Read schematics, analyze circuits, and assist engineers with improvements.
