Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks an Aeronautical Engineer - Test & Evaluation to join a team focused on integration and verification. The role is primarily based in Rancho Bernardo, CA with an alternate site in Palmdale, CA, and requires travel up to 25%.

You will shepherd HW/SW integration in a lab setting, support MBSE architecture, and ensure readiness for test campaigns. The candidate will lead cross-discipline collaboration, translate program requirements into lab configurations,

Qualifications

• BS in a STEM field with experience in systems engineering and test&E evaluation.
• Experience integrating hardware and software and leading design efforts.
• Ability to communicate mission needs and architectures to teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with System Test Management Plan development.
• Lead design efforts for test & evaluation of HW/SW integration.
• Develop architecture diagrams in MBSE environments.
• Collaborate with software, systems, and program leadership on mission needs and architectures.
• Translate program requirements into lab configurations and tests.
• Lead test-related SME activities and coordinate cross-area testing.
• Interface with customers and internal teams to share status and results.
