Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 45 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session. Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Document fluid schematics and specifications to construct, relocate, and install test stands, test equipment, and facilities infrastructure.
• Contribute to teams designing mechanical test equipment, components, and systems for MPC power generation, transmission, and distribution products.
• Track orders, costs, and due dates to update budgets and spending profiles.
• Work independently and as part of a cross-functional engineering team ensuring work is completed on-time, within quality standards, per specifications and contracts, and within budget constraints.
