Job summary

Jamco America Inc in Everett, WA is seeking a skilled test engineer to coordinate testing from design through reporting. The role focuses on fatigue and static evaluations of aircraft interior components and assemblies, working with engineering and operations.

You will develop test plans, direct test setup, collect data, and generate reports. Moderate travel may be required; a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with aerospace experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Good test and development background focused on mechanical-structures and components.
• Engineering disciplines applied to a wide range of technical problems in aerospace.
• BS degree Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field with aerospace experience or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing from design to reporting, including test fixture concepts and instrumentation.
• Generate test plans and reports; liaise with stress engineering, design, procurement, PM and production.
• Oversee development, procurement, installation and calibration of test instruments and equipment.
• Direct and manage operations across test phases; resolve data issues with engineering personnel.
• Analyze test data and prepare technical reports for engineering and management.
