Job summary

Jamco America Inc. in Everett, WA, is seeking a Test and M&P Engineer 2 to support the definition of requirements for materials, parts, and processes used in interior products for commercial aircraft through testing and research.

The role coordinates test design to test implementation, assists in development and qualification of engineering packages, and collaborates with Stress, Mechanical & Manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Material Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with material testing and qualification testing is required.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards, CMH-17, and FAA regulations is desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of test plans and perform tests to qualify new materials, parts, and processes.
• Create test article and test setup drawings for coupon testing.
• Support development of manufacturing drawings from engineering drawings for new processes.
• Monitor and improve manufacturing processes with feedback from engineers.
• Coordinate with Stress/Flammability, Mechanical & Manufacturing teams on M&P topics.
