Job summary

Sierra Space, based in Colorado, is seeking an Entry-level Test Engineer I to contribute to testing and validation of aerospace systems. You will plan, execute, and document V&V activities under guidance from senior engineers, using schematics, manuals, and procedures to support problem solving.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Typically entry-level with 0–2 years of experience.
• Conceptual knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Familiarity with multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from senior engineers.
• Familiarity with requirements management, system design, and systems integration.
• Exposure to planning, conducting, and documenting Verification and Validation (V&V) activities.
• Familiarity with Product and Quality Assurance principles and exposure to generation and disposition of product non-conformances.
• Familiarity with schematics, service manuals, test procedures, and logical troubleshooting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, execution, and documentation of V&V activities.
• Support testing using schematics, manuals, test procedures and troubleshooting.
• Prepare and document test data, reports, and technical information for projects.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to team members and seniors.
