Sierra Nevada Corporation in Lone Tree, CO is hiring a Test Engineer I to support test and certification of advanced aerospace and defense products. You will develop and execute basic test plans and procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design requirements are met.

The role emphasizes extensive system testing across mission equipment such as communications, computing, navigation, and surveillance systems, with no software testing focus.

Formación

• Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering or related field.
• 0-2+ years of experience in test engineering or a related role.
• Must have been an SNC Summer 2026 Intern.
• Basic understanding of requirements, testing principles, and methodologies.
• Conceptual knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
• Knowledge of requirements management, system design, and systems integration.
• Exposure to planning, conducting and documenting Verification and Validation (V&V) activities.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the development and execution of test plans and procedures.
• Perform basic testing and validation of components and systems/sub-systems.
• Record and analyze test data, providing initial reports on test results.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure test requirements are understood and met.
• Maintain test equipment and ensure proper calibration and functionality.
• Participate in internal/external meetings and briefs.
