Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking an Aerospace Engineer I to assist in the design, development, and testing of innovative aerospace products and systems in a hybrid office setting. You will work under supervision, collaborating with senior engineers to meet safety, quality, and performance standards.

The ISR, Aviation, and Security business area leads in ISR and aviation systems, offering opportunities to contribute to multi-disciplinary projects and gain hands-on experience with C4ISR

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with CFD and FEA tools.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
• Joined multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
• Hybrid office or on-site work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and development of aerospace components and systems.
• Perform basic analysis and testing to validate concepts.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Document technical data and reporting to support decisions.
• Participate in design reviews and propose improvements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
