Job summary

Salary placements on ACCS Schedule D1 range from $43,792 to $98,138 for 9 months, plus separate 3-month supplements. Demonstrated teaching excellence and industry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate degree (60 semester hours) in Aerospace, Manufacturing Technology or related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Minimum of three years of full-time related work experience in industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and electrical layout is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent classroom and laboratory instruction in credentialed area of expertise.
• Teach at varied times and places and in varied formats based on student demand (day/evening; on-site, hybrid, online).
• Evaluate student progress according to institutional and departmental criteria.
• Maintain accurate class records including grades and attendance.
• Prepare or assist in materials such as syllabi, outlines, and catalog material.
• Promote student leadership and enrichment experiences.
• Advise students academically and professionally and engage with industry partners.
• Update curriculum to meet changing industry needs and collaborate with colleagues.
• Be punctual, maintain office hours, and perform duties with professionalism.
