Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking a Technician Trainer in Lynnwood, WA to lead advanced OJT and classroom training programs tailored for Technicians. You will develop and maintain comprehensive training plans, ensuring alignment with quality and technical requirements, and assess training effectiveness while guiding workforce development.

You will collaborate with Engineering and Production to optimize testing conditions, documentation, and training delivery.

Qualifications

3–5 years of electronics manufacturing or similar production experience.
Advanced knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes and IPC standards.
Proficient in soldering, rework, and repair of SMT and through-hole components.
Strong ability to read engineering drawings, schematics and manufacturing instructions.
Experience in developing and delivering technical training programs.

Responsibilities

Lead on-the-job training and classroom programs for Technicians.
Develop, maintain and update comprehensive training plans.
Ensure training completion for new hires and transfers with certifications.
Collaborate with Engineering and Production to optimize training quality and efficiency.
Schedule and conduct classroom, OJT, or virtual trainings.
Assess training effectiveness and adjust plans to improve outcomes.
Maintain training records and ensure compliance with policies.
