Job summary

United Launch Alliance in Florida seeks an Aerospace Technician to support Atlas and Vulcan launch operations. The role involves receiving, integrating, testing and launching space vehicles, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure mission success.

Minimum 4 years of related experience and High School/GED required. Travel, overtime, and shift changes may be necessary; competitive pay and benefits are provided, including a 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of related work experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance; US citizenship is required.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Willingness to train on 1st shift and transition to 2nd shift; overtime, weekends, nights as needed.
• Travel to other ULA facilities including travel outside Florida (25%).
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working at heights.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, calibrate, troubleshoot, maintain and test ground, airborne, and facility systems and equipment.
• Support launch operations including hoisting/rigging, stacking, and handling of spaceflight hardware.
• Perform maintenance and modification of electronic, mechanical, structural, and fluid systems.
