Job summary

United Launch Alliance is seeking an Aerospace Technician at Cape Canaveral to support Atlas and Vulcan launch operations. You will receive, integrate, test, and launch space vehicles, performing calibration, maintenance, and system checkout across ground and facility equipment.

The role requires 4+ years of related experience, DoD Secret Clearance eligibility, and the ability to work 1st shift during training with a transition to 2nd shift as needed. Expect travel and overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of related work experience.
• High School/GED required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance; US citizenship required.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to work 1st shift during training and then 2nd shift based on payload and demand; overtime/weekends.
• Willingness to travel to other ULA facilities, including travel outside Florida (25%).
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working at heights.
• Valid driver's license and ability to move between sites on a military base.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, calibrate, troubleshoot, maintain, and test systems to specs.
• Support launch ops including hoisting, rigging, and vehicle stacking.
• Perform maintenance and repair of electronic, mechanical, structural, and fluid systems.
• Calibrate, refurbish, and service launch systems during prep and static firing.
• Assist engineering with test execution, data analysis, and debugging.
