Job summary

United Launch Alliance (ULA) is seeking a Systems Engineer 2 to join the Atlas and Vulcan Programs, reporting to the Mission Integration Systems Engineering Leader. The role focuses on applying systems engineering processes to SV-LV interfaces, ensuring 100% mission success across multiple missions with cross-functional teams.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, 2+ years of related experience, and willingness to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, applied mathematics, or similar from an accredited university.
• Experience working with aerospace system requirements.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams in requirements analysis, development, integration, and/or verification.
• Experience presenting material to large customer audiences.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to evaluate customer needs and develop solutions for 100% mission success.
• Integrate mission interface requirements specifications.
• Requirement development and authoring.
• Leading requirements verification efforts.
• Gate Review preparation and execution.
• Management of risks, issues, and opportunities.
• Team leadership and program execution planning.
• Customer relationship and communication.
• New and prospective mission interface compatibility assessments.
• Technical issue resolution.
