Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of military, aircraft maintenance, product manufacturing or technical writing experience; Masters degree and 0 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of military, aircraft maintenance, product manufacturing or technical writing experience; Masters degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD Top Secret security clearance preferred; proficiency in interpreting engineering data; experience with XML/S1000D publication processes.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, write, rewrite and edit technical documents (manuals, specs) from released source materials.
• Interview product developers and SMEs to acquire subject knowledge.
• Identify and resolve moderate scope discrepancies in engineering drawings and data.
• Coordinate findings with engineering teams and SMEs; refer to precedents and policies.
• Review products with customers and advise proper use.
