Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an instructional designer/trainer to develop and deploy technical courses for manufacturing, assembly, and test operations. You will collaborate with SMEs to capture knowledge, design learner-centered content, and deliver classroom training with hands-on demonstrations.

You’ll manage LMS-based courses, track attendance, and forecast training needs while supporting a culture of safety, quality, and inclusion. Some travel (~10%) is expected.”

Qualifications

• Experience writing technical training courseware.
• Experience delivering classroom technical training with hands-on demonstration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team with strong employee focus.
• Ability to self-manage activities based on priorities.
• Must be able to support travel ~10% of the time.
• Ability to earn trust and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident or legally admitted into the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy manufacturing, assembly, and test technical courses to meet company needs, including SME knowledge capture.
• Create specialty courses for identified needs with diverse stakeholders.
• Standardize training elements across multiple work centers and geographic sites.
• Conduct technical training in classroom and lab environments, including practical tests.
• Document and track training attendance and recurring needs.
• Develop and maintain forecasting capabilities and “soon due” reports.
