Job summary

Martinic Engineering in Tolleson, AZ, is hiring a Technical Sales Manager to oversee contract negotiations, quotations, and customer relations with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams. The role requires leading a sales staff in a manufacturing setting and coordinating cross-functional activities.

You will coordinate with finance and operations to ensure contractual obligations are met, drive on-time delivery, and support the sales function in proposals and orders.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent and at least 5 years experience leading a sales team in a manufacturing environment.
• Aerospace Industry Experience Preferred.
• ERP system knowledge.
• Past project management experience and experience leading a cross functional team to manage the timeline and delivery on new parts/products.
• Good customer relation skills.
• Moderate to Expert in various Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise customer service staff responsible for purchase order entry, quotation coordination and submittal, backlog alignment and customer communication.
• Manage and coordinate contract administration activities to ensure that contractual obligations are maintained in a manner which ensures good customer relations while representing the interest of the company.
• Advise management of contract obligations, deficiencies, commitments, and performance.
• Supports sales function in the processing of quotations and proposals.
• Handles incoming requests for order status including expedite requests through coordination with Engineering, Operations, Planning, Quality and Purchasing as well as drives regular customer updates where required.
• Proactively manages on time delivery through close internal coordination and communicates status inclusive of recovery date information if applicable.
• Fields general customer inquiries and conducts internal research to respond in a timely manner.
• Builds and maintains strong positive relationships with customers and assures customer satisfaction by resolution of customer related issues as well as supporting in person meetings.
