Job summary

Teledyne Aerospace Electronics is seeking a Technical Sales Manager in the Los Angeles area to drive growth across North America. You will own and grow a defined portfolio, build strategic account plans, and lead complex sales cycles from qualification to close.

You will translate technical and operational needs into compelling solutions, collaborate with engineering and product teams, and maintain a data‑driven pipeline in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Advanced degree highly desired.
• Experience selling to airlines, operators, OEMs or government aviation groups.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a defined portfolio of airline, operator, OEM, and partner accounts.
• Build and execute account plans focused on expansion and retention.
• Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder sales opportunities from qualification to close.
• Translate operational challenges into clear technical and commercial solutions.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to shape customer‑driven offerings.
• Maintain an accurate, data‑driven pipeline and forecast in Salesforce.
• Develop pricing strategies, proposals, and support contract negotiations.
• Build credibility with technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, program, and customer teams.
• Represent Teledyne at industry events and customer‑facing engagements.
