Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in the United States seeks a skilled Program Manager to own end-to-end artifacts from design through sustained production. You will partner with SMEs and engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of flight and R&D hardware, including budgets, schedules, and procurement alignment.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and communication skills in technical work environments.
  • Experience in project management in a technical environment.
  • Self-starter, strong bias for action.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and balancing internal and external schedules.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end ownership of artifacts required to take assigned Work Centers from design to sustained production with SMEs.
  • Create and use standard formats for data aggregation and reporting to executive leadership on readiness, escalations, needs, and wins.
  • Track design release, Make/Buy parts, tooling, template work orders, non-conformances, and items needed for Production start and sustainment with responsible functions.
  • Coordinate with engineering hardware design, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, suppliers, and program leadership to ensure timely delivery of flight and R&D hardware, including budgets and schedules.
  • Communicate risks and risk abatement plans to management.
  • Transition products from concept to development phase.
