Job summary

Stratolaunch in Mojave, CA is seeking a documentation specialist to create and maintain manuals, procedures, and system descriptions. You will collaborate with SMEs and drive standardized documentation across programs.

Qualifications include 2+ years in doc publishing, strong organization, detail orientation, and familiarity with S1000D and hypertext docs; travel is minimal with hybrid options discussed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with documentation publishing and/or management software.
• Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work on own initiative and prioritize tasking.

Responsibilities

• Create and/or support the creation of manuals, maintenance docs, system descriptions, and procedures.
• Maintain, update, and configuration manage documentation.
• Build templates and automated processes for standard compliance.
• Develop enterprise-wide tools and processes for doc/knowledge management.
• Evaluate tools for document management across the company.
• Ensure ITAR and other regulations in document marking, storage and distribution.
• Train personnel in tools, systems and processes.
• Assist others in creating company documentation.
