Job summary

Stratolaunch seeks a Propulsion Systems Manufacturing Engineer (ME level II or Sr) to support design, integration, testing, and maintenance of propulsion-related electrical and avionics systems. You will craft work instructions, develop tooling drawings, and liaison with the shop to ensure producibility and compliance with industry standards.

The role focuses on SRM/HRM propulsion, aerospace documentation, and shop-floor support, with travel as needed and on-site performance at Mojave, CA.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of propulsion vehicle systems and integration.
• Experience with aerospace production documentation and revision control.
• Experience with launch vehicle electrical power systems.
• Ability to create shop work instructions and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create work instructions and tooling drawings for propulsion builds.
• Reference 3D models and integrate into 2D environments.
• Provide engineering liaison on shop floor for documentation issues.
• Troubleshoot propulsion systems and support ground tests.
• Develop tests and ATP procedures; support hypersonic testing.
• Contribute to shop layout and continuous improvement.

Bachelor’s degree (Engineering)
