Job summary

RTX is seeking a Turbine Airfoil Inspection Technologist to lead and automate airfoil inspection programs at our East Hartford, CT facility. You will design and implement 3D CMM inspection routines, leveraging GD&T and new technologies, while partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality to drive precision and reliability.

You will contribute to equipment selection, lean initiatives, and continuous improvement, applying advanced metrology tools in an aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors with 10+ years in quality/manufacturing or engineering mgmt in industrial setting.
• Masters with 7 years of related experience preferred.
• U.S. citizenship required for access to program information.

Responsibilities

• Develop and advance cooling hole geometry inspections with Engineering/Manufacturing.
• Create 3D CMM inspection programs using GD&T and modeling.
• Execute on New Technologies Inspection Roadmap and expand inspection scope.
• Provide CMM programming solutions to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Assist in equipment acquisition and lean manufacturing initiatives using CORE tools.
• Collaborate with Module Center, Quality and Manufacturing teams.
