RTX's Pratt & Whitney unit in East Hartford is seeking a Turbine Airfoil Inspection Technologist to advance cooling hole geometry inspections, develop 3D CMM inspection programs, and automate inspection methods in collaboration with Engineering and Manufacturing.

The role requires 10+ years in quality/manufacturing or engineering leadership, U.S. citizenship, and deep expertise in GD&T, CMM programming, and aerospace quality standards with a path to move new technology into production.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years’ of experience in Quality and/or Manufacturing operations and/or engineering management or similar industrial environment.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Responsabilidades

• Utilize GD&T and modeling knowledge to create 3D CMM inspection programs
• Execute on New Technologies Inspection Roadmap and expand inspection capabilities for hole shapes, auto VIS, radiography, and vane measurements
• Provide CMM Programming solutions to ensure product and process compliance
• Participate in equipment acquisition processes
• Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives using CORE tools and RCCA for continuous improvement
• Foster relationships with Module Center departments including other Quality and Manufacturing personnel
