Job summary

Greer Stop Nut in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to run tapping and threading equipment for aerospace-grade lock nuts. This full-time day shift runs Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with occasional overtime.

You will set up machines, perform quality checks, and handle oily parts throughout the day. Attention to safety and precision is essential, as parts are calibrated with calipers and gauges and moved between operations on pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• Experience operating tapping/threading machines in a manufacturing setting.
• Comfort working with oily parts throughout the day.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate tapping/threading equipment per work instructions.
• Set up machines and document productivity.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers and gauges.
• Move parts on pallet jacks and maintain a clean work area.
