Job summary

Axiom Space is seeking a persistent, high‑energy Senior Recruiter to identify, attract, and hire top talent across the aerospace organization. This role partners closely with engineering, manufacturing, program management, and leadership teams to build high‑performing teams that support mission‑critical programs.

You will implement full-cycle recruiting, drive strategic talent initiatives, and ensure an exceptional candidate and hiring-manager experience, while developing sourcing strategies for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• 5–8 years recruiting experience with at least 3 in aerospace or high-tech environments.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and AI sourcing tools (Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter).
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle recruitment for engineering, operations, technical and corporate roles.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract specialized talent, including niche aerospace skill sets.
• Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, role requirements, and long‑term talent plans.
• Develop and manage candidate pipelines for high‑demand roles such as flight software engineers, avionics specialists, program managers, and systems engineers.
• Conduct behavioral and technical screening to assess qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with program requirements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry‑specific hiring regulations, including OFCCP and export‑control requirements.
• Drive employer branding initiatives to strengthen the company’s presence in aerospace tech talent markets.
• Use data and analytics to track recruiting performance, identify trends, and recommend process improvements and refinement of recruiting best practices.
• Represent the company at industry events, career fairs, and professional conferences to build talent networks.
• Implement and maintain agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
