Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation, in Shelby, NC, seeks a Sr. Manager of Systems Engineering & Testing to lead a 10–12 person team. You’ll guide system modeling, requirements, safety, and testing for actuation products, while coordinating with customers and program management.

Required are a bachelor's in engineering with 15–20 years in aerospace systems engineering and test management; DO-178/DO-254 experience is preferred. Master’s degree is preferred and governance experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required; Master’s preferred.
• 15–20 years in aerospace systems engineering and test management.
• Experience with DO-178, DO-254, ARP-4754, ARP-4761 preferred; actuation systems.
• Proven ability to lead an engineering department and interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide management direction to the systems engineering department (10–12 people).
• Oversee system modeling, requirements, safety & reliability, and product testing.
• Lead communication with customers on progress, issues, and proposals.
• Develop and refine department governance and KPIs to drive execution.
