Job summary

AeroVironment invites students to join a 12-week Summer Internship Program in the United States. Interns work onsite on meaningful projects with AV teams, contributing to test equipment development, C# software tasks, and test strategies while building professional relationships.

Eligible applicants are currently pursuing a BS in a related field with a minimum 3.0 GPA and may receive relocation and housing reimbursement depending on location and team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant academic or project experience in test development, lab, or manufacturing environments.
• Exposure to writing bug reports and root‑cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, deployment, troubleshooting, and upgrading test equipment for PCBAs, subsystems, and AV systems.
• Support C# / OOP software development using Visual Studio.
• Develop test software in C#.
• Collaborate to develop test plans, gather requirements, and create test strategies.
• Analyze and format test results following standard procedures.
• Work toward project deliverables in a fast-paced engineering setting.
• Support cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines.
• Provide feedback to product design on testability.
