Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience, including systems engineering or technical lead roles.
• Experience leading cross-disciplinary engineering teams on projects.
• Aerospace and/or defense industry experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience including performance reviews preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead on projects, ensuring designs meet performance specs and standards.
• Perform requirements analysis, system architecture, safety analysis, and verification activities.
• Define and manage interfaces between mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems.
• Create detailed design documentation and conduct analyses for complex electro‑mechanical systems.
• Plan and execute qualification testing and report results.
• Provide sustaining engineering support, including root cause analysis and obsolescence management.
• Support proposals by analyzing requirements and coordinating estimates with Business Development.
• Serve as primary technical contact with customers, suppliers, and test facilities.
• Review and approve engineering change requests and maintain configuration control.
• Lead engineering document reviews for specifications and plans.
