Job summary

Electric Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager to lead our systems engineering team through requirements, integration, and certification-driven development for next-generation aerospace programs.

You will oversee FHA, PSSA, FTA, and FMECA analyses, drive cross-disciplinary system integration, and ensure schedules and budgets align with program goals while maintaining technical integrity. Relocation support is available for this role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 5+ years of aerospace systems engineering experience.
  • 1+ years of supervisory or people management experience.
  • Experience managing certification-driven development efforts.
  • Strong grounding in aerospace systems engineering standards and processes.

Electric Power Systems (EPS) designs and delivers advanced energy storage systems powering the next generation of flight and mobility. We're looking for a Systems Engineering Manager to lead our systems engineering team through requirements, integration, and certification-driven development on next-gen aerospace programs.

What You'll Do
  • Lead a team of systems engineers through requirements capture, traceability, validation, and verification
  • Own systems safety analysis (FHA, PSSA, FTA, FMECA, and related methods)
  • Drive system-level integration across mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces
  • Keep programs on schedule and budget while safeguarding technical integrity

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
  • 5+ years of aerospace systems engineering experience
  • 1+ years of supervisory or people management experience
  • Experience managing certification-driven development efforts
  • Strong grounding in aerospace systems engineering standards and processes
Bonus Points
  • Experience with DO-160, DO-178, and/or DO-254
  • Familiarity with DOORS, JAMA, or similar requirements management tools
  • Background with lithium battery or electric propulsion systems
  • Experience supporting TSO, STC, or Experimental certification programs
