Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 at White Sands, NM. This on-site role supports installation and testing of engineering changes, as well as integration and test activities, including field tests of radars or missiles.

Candidates must be enrolled in a STEM program and have at least 30 credit hours by start. Eligible interns may work weekends or holidays and potentially travel to range sites.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and enrolled through the internship period.
• Must have a minimum of 30 credit hours by the start of the internship.
• Experience with instrumentation and/or operation of data acquisition systems or lab test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support installation and testing of engineering modifications and updates.
• Assist integration and test activities to diagnose and correct issues.
• Support mission execution tests, potentially traveling to range sites.
• Occasional weekend/holiday testing with extended hours.
