Job summary

RTX internship program in Tewksbury, Massachusetts offers hands-on experience in electrical engineering for Summer 2027. You will engage in circuit analysis, simulation, and hardware integration within a collaborative team addressing Digital, Analog, and RF components.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field, with at least 30 credits by start date, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM major.
• Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Circuit analysis, circuit simulation, design documentation maintenance, trade assessments for obsolescence resolution, troubleshooting and resolution of hardware performance issues and hardware integration, test and verification.
• Integration and test of Digital, Analog, and RF components and modules.
• Work as part of a team to analyze Hardware / Firmware test requirements / specifications to determine Hardware and Firmware requirements.
• Develop solutions to test issues and develop productivity and efficiency enhancements.
• Interact with test technicians, factory facilitators, operations managers, other engineers, Quality Assurance and Reliability personnel.
