Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly qualified Systems Engineer to join our team at the cutting edge of aircraft training systems. You will support the change workflow for pilot training devices, including retrofit installation, hardware and software upgrades, and coordination with all stakeholders to ensure seamless integration.

The role requires strong systems engineering experience, formal engineering training, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering fields.
Experience with F35 Mods/Retrofits/Upgrades Pilot Training Devices.
Experience with systems administration (Windows, Linux, file server).
Experience with reviewing technical documentation.
Active Security+ Certification.

Responsibilities

Support technical efforts in the change workflow for pilot training devices, including retrofit installation and coordination with stakeholders.
Develop engineering change proposals and oversee retrofit installation of hardware and software.
Install, configure, and maintain systems including computers, networks, and servers.
Lead sustainment change through problem identification to deployment with rigorous testing.
Provide engineering support for troubleshooting field issues, including remote assistance.
Demonstrate systems engineering expertise in hardware and software retrofit installation.
