Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in the United States is seeking a Systems Engineer to plan, implement, test, document, and maintain integration solutions for in‑house developed and COTS/GOTS components, subsystems, and systems. You will drive test plans and coordinate with programs across organizations, with international travel 2–4 times per year.

This role requires strong systems engineering experience, leadership in integration and testing, and expertise in cyber security

Qualifications

• Active US security clearance with polygraph is required.
• Must hold a valid US Passport.
• Experience with network configurations/operations and integrating both test and operational systems; OS levels include Windows/Linux/Unix/RHEL.
• System integration and test leadership experience; developing test plans and procedures.
• Requirements gathering, design, documentation and planning experience including test experience.
• Experience developing system cyber security requirements and allocating to components.
• Experience in creating System Engineering Plans, Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, Interface Control Documents.
• Ability to author detailed test plans and troubleshooting procedures.
• Experience performing quantitative analysis of non-functional system performance (reliability, maintainability, etc.).
• Experience in interface definition and change management across teams.
• Experience leading multiple development tasks and customer engagements.
• Experience allocating real-time process budgets and error budgets to subsystems.
• Understanding stakeholder needs and system operations.
• Experience defining system or component definitions with requirements, designs and interfaces.
• Knowledge of verification methods for system components.
• Experience providing technical direction for development and testing of complex systems.
• Willingness to travel internationally 2-4 times/year.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration and test planning for LM RMS systems and subsystems.
• Coordinate testing activities with programs and organizations; verify requirements for testability.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, procedures and regression testing; document results.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure system integration and performance.
