Job summary

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company in Palmdale, CA seeks a training systems designer to develop and implement courseware for aircrew and maintenance personnel, including simulation and VR/AR scenarios.

The successful candidate will create innovative training courses for existing and new systems, supporting customers at multiple locations. Top Secret clearance and US citizenship are required, with up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with developing, planning, and facilitating training and courseware development.
• Technical understanding of mission systems/sub-systems, mission execution concepts, communications and ground control elements, and requirements management.

Responsibilities

• Develop training requirements and implement courseware to instruct aircrew/maintenance functions, including simulation and scenarios for customer training.
• Develop highly creative training courses for existing and new systems.
• Provide all aspects of aircrew/maintenance training to customer personnel at various locations.
• Demonstrate experience with latest instructional design trends including flight simulators, virtual reality, or other task training devices.
