Job summary

Stellar Solutions, Inc. in Tucson, Arizona seeks a Systems Engineer to support aerospace programs, working with an integrated engineering team on requirements development, V&V activities, and engineering reviews.

You will derive system requirements from documentation, manage traceability, track issues in JIRA, and collaborate with customers and multidisciplinary teams to keep objectives moving toward completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Eng, Mechanical Eng, Electrical Eng, or related field.
• Experience supporting systems engineering activities in a technical environment.
• Experience developing, analyzing, documenting, or managing technical requirements.
• Understanding of SE processes and the relationship between requirements, design, verification, and validation.
• Ability to translate customer docs into clear, actionable system requirements.
• Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage activities independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and derive system requirements from customer, program, and technical documentation.
• Support requirements analysis, decomposition, documentation, traceability, and management throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain and track requirements to ensure consistency between customer needs, system requirements, and verification activities.
• Support verification and validation (V&V) planning, tracking, and management.
• Assist with systems engineering and technical reviews, including tracking and disposition of RIDs, action items, and review comments.
• Create, maintain, and track engineering issues and actions using JIRA.
• Coordinate with systems engineers, technical leads, customers, and other engineering disciplines to support resolution of requirements, verification, and technical issues.
